i suggest getting a program like Cool edit or Adobe audition to chop samples with accurately. Or using the Fl slicer to chop music. Chop on a 4 count until you get good at it and....just practice... -

That aint me sun...I can lay a drum pattern without it. I can make a beat pattern using the NN-XT without quantization...have done it in the past. it all depends on what route you wanna take. You will always get a natural feel developing beat patterns in the NN-XT sampler. Thats real talk. -
