I think the opposite. I think it's probably the easier route. It's a route I initially considered for it. 130 - 140 is typical trap/drill tempos, seeing as it's halftime that's 65-70bpm. That's pretty fucking slow. Drop down to 126 for some real slow vibes.- Iron Keys

The reason I take the dissonant route, is because you could play a note not in the chord (for example), but it happens to be the 7th, or 9th of the chord, so harmonically still sounds 'right.' The 'wrong' notes stick out a lot easier, and there are fewer of them. So for me, it's a quicker process. -

I tell you what I hate... I change the pitch of a hat. It immediately sounds weird. I then change it back. It sounds weird also. And never sounds right again! o_O -
