How can a workstation synth with a 64 mb rom sound better than a 2 gig software synth
A/d converters.. the A/d converters on these Workstations are built a Certain way... if u get a good A/d converter .. you get them patches to sound good ..Each company has it on Signature Sound with there converters... Most People just get some cheap card and Download/buy huge sounds then walk...- Greg Savage

Acid Pro 4.0 for production...
Acid can do anything you need it to do.. you can compose in it Sample.. Edit.. Clock ur WHole studio to it.. Nothing Pitches changes tempo or clocks house better than Acid.. thats the only reason i still have a pc is to run acid- Greg Savage

mac compatible software...
^^ Foreal i use Dp4 myself... Ssample tank can be coded over in a format certain mac apps can read For the most Part Anything Worth using Mac has (Hybrib) or they have an alternative/something better..thats real talk there..- Greg Savage

I dont use any of it.. O just Open Reason Load my Custom Drum kits instruments via nnxt (yea) Record and and play my shit out that my i get my own Feel to it..I like to make my Drums sound like they was Real Played out rather than grided ya know.. thats just me though..
