    I would go wit Monitor headphones if your in a dorm room. As for the soundcard,,,I would want to upgrade soon. For now, i think some headphones are a good solution. You can get a pair from Sam Ash for like 100 bucks. Sony has some nice ones.

    try a local bank, one that isn't like, "Wachovia" or something. The smaller banks tend to help out more. A co-signer will be agood, and this will help you with your credit for the future. I did it in college and it got my credit nice!

    I think this is more beneficial for the emcee then a producer. AND, it depends on the DJ like LE said. If Kay Slay wants $300 to drop a cut of yours on his tape, then I think it's a good move,,,for an emcee. As for a producer, I don't see a benefit from it.
