    imo, mpc's havent been that superb since the 2kxl (yay me) though i ony bought a mpc500 since which i found to be really good (except for the ram holder) when talking parts and quality. The xl's displays are getting the lines though but i operate them blindly lol. I think 85$ on new pad sensors...

    dude, just load up another plugin and find the key, if you cant find the pitch because its to low then either transpose and octave up and see if you can hear it ( play the sample twice the speed ).
