    opening ceremonies.

Ya, during a training run on the same day of the opening. A luger lost control and he came out of the track and hit a metal pole at 144 KM... I don't know why they had to show the video, I thought that was very tasteless...

anyone know anything about this record?

Well, the sellers on that website often jack up prices way beyond normalcy. The record may be obscure/rare, but I've heard the title song, and I can assure you, I wouldn't pay more than a buck for it.. but then again, maybe somebody would. Different strokes for different folks.

    Manual Digging vs. Internet Digging

You mean an acetate cut? I have only one, again a reggae 10" acetate from Prince Jammy from the 80's (something you mp3 cats will never see! haha) and it's great, you never know what you'll find! Keep those wicked record find stories coming!

    Manual Digging vs. Internet Digging

Years ago, I came across a 45 rpm record from the late 1960's in which the label was blank, nothing written on it except there was a stamp that said "V-Rocket Soundsystem - J Marsh". If you know anything about reggae in general, V-Rocket was one of the earlier Jamaican sound systems. So when I...

    Manual Digging vs. Internet Digging

I agree, some people hoard records so much that it becomes a big issue. I have a modest collection that takes up about the space of a small closet. It's easy to transport, and I sell records I don't listen to on e-bay or Craigslist, or I put them out on the sidewalk for people to take...

    Manual Digging vs. Internet Digging

Good point, for me digging isn't necessarily about finding the perfect sample, it's really the thrill of the hunt. When I go out, the adventure of going to the store, digging through the piles of records is what makes the experience so worthwhile. You never know who or what you will run into...

Tell me this is a lie!

These guys can throw up all the signs they want, but I bet most don't have a clue! Yea, I've been to a Masonic Lodge, and even did some 'sneaking' in places I shouldn't have been. Really, it's not as bad as everyone thinks. The place was under scrutiny from the fire department for being old and...

Did I mention I hate windows?

We can all argue about how good macs and pc's are, but in the end of the day, as long as it gets the job done then I'm happy. I've used macs, pc's, older systems like OS/2 and other alternative OS's, but in the end of the day, I feel most comfortable with Windows, regardless if it has...
