    @123studio thanks for that I do not use a DAW just all inside Mpc but do export Wav at 24bit. I probably should try using the Mpc software or some other DAW at some point but am learning the basics of mixing and mastering pretty much mixing it all by ear, will keep at it and getting feedback...

    @2GooD Productions I listen to you on soundcloud and your beats are spot on high quality so -8 -9 to -12 should all be good then. When I export from Mpc I originally used mp3 as to upload here on ILL it’s a small file size but loss of quality. I have used wav, flac and aiff for other platforms...

    @Andante excellent info thanks i'll study that soon explains the LUFS that @123studio pointed out really well and the difference across platforms and media with soundcloud, youtube, spotify and itunes very helpful. I'd upload then wonder what happened, reload Mpc project and go between the two...

    @DeepTheta, thanks man. Yeah I’m focusing on drums and beat structure before going too complex. It’s all practice and putting in the time as you say, listening and studying others and community’s such as Illmuzik. Look forward to your beats, upload and hopefully get some constructive feedback.
