yeah, you need that adapter I posted a link to, the phonos go to the input of the adapter, the black wire goes to the 12v gnd. Then go from the output of the adapter into the mpc. If you dont connect the ground wire then you get a buzzing noise.
Turntables have a low level phono output. You should route the turntable through a mixer and then into the mpc. The mixer will turn the low level turntable input into a line level output. You will probably have to connect the earth wire from the turntable to the mixer too if it has one. Can you...

@DJ Excellence with the lack of a bassline I think that kick could thump a lot more around 60hz, maybe down as low as around 47hz. Real throwback beat to the old days.
Sonically it sounds good, that kick hits. For an intro though I feel its a bit long and could easily cut off around 1min or after he says "Its about telling a story through the music" around 1:05 ish
