    The bass I usually use is from an old plugin and it's a low end bass which is good enough but for my productions. I always add a low pass filter on it then tweak it from there. I've always found that filtering really helps a lot (along with EQ) for bass. It can take a long time to find a bass...

    Beat #1: Drums sound really good in the mix. I just wish the low end had a bit more presence. Beat #2: Mix needs to be louder and wider. I like this beat (and the fast hats) but I just think it's the mix that needs work.

    Beat #1: Nice piano. 808 is nice but a bit too much. I would like to hear the beat be a bit more fluid without so many stops. But it hits hard, good head nodder. Beat #2: Nice drums. Piano is subtle, good panning. I like the variation in this beat, very smooth.

    Beat #1: Very smooth. Good mix. The beat moves nicely. Good use of panning. Beat #2: I like the crazy sounds. I think the drums could hit a bit harder but they still fit well with the rest of the track. This gives me Doctor Who vibes.

    Beat #1: Nice intro, good buildup. Good bounce when the drums drop in. Good use of panning, solid mix. Beat #2: Piano is really nice. Drums sound good. I think the drums are slightly louder than the piano in the mix, but it's still a good beat.
