One of the main reasons it's happening is because of cable/sat television. Online streaming like netflix has killed profit, so the big guns (Bell / Rogers) in Canada want to limit peoples access to their own distribution. It's a dick move, and honestly, there needs to be more competition, right...- Pug

Sure some of my Canadian brethren have already read about this, but the CRTC (Canadian Radio and Television Committee) has decided to basically put ridiculous limits on bandwidth for a lot of isp's... it sort of spells out the end of streaming video and any other large downloading in Canada...- Pug

The Amazon Kindle...
The I-Pad does have a lot more features than an e-reader, but it's also a lot more expensive. Otherwise I'd cop that for sure... but for just reading books, a Kindle or a Kobo suit my purposes.- Pug

I bought a Kobo reader recently, and I gotta agree, E-readers are fuckin dope. The text is easily legible, and reading doesn't strain the eyes like a computer screen. The really nice thing, is that even if you only have a gig of space, you can shove like 5000 books on that thing. Best of all...- Pug
