    I dont think the pella is lining up properly with the beat, and could really use a little something in the bass range, like maybe a little sub under some of the kicks or something, might help give it a little more variation. Apart from that I like it, and like the snare pattern.

    It takes a bit of ear training to be able to find the root key by playing keys on the keyboard to find the one that sounds right. Key detection software isnt 100%, has nothing to do with google

    There are root keys and scales based on the key, like major and minor. It can get more complicated with modes but dont worry about them for now. Look up triads, they are the easiest chords to learn. The root key is the lowest frequency note in the chord(usually).
