Thank you Bruh, actually the first time iv ever won anything to do with beats. Always been shy about my beats but people keep telling me to put them out there. lol Looks like they were right
Thanx bro, You right about the volume levels, its a bad habit i picked up when my beats used to be so low and kinda decided to rather make them loud without distortion. Keeping it just below the red. Will try and see if i can bring it down a bit so it doesn't sound so loud. :)
I can actually hear the Heavy metal influence here. I reckon use that and incorporate it to trap. Bass is a bit high and kinda muffles the drumming. Loving the melody, got a bit of the EDM trap feel. Keep up the good work, only way one gets better at trap is to keep doing it. Cant wait to hear...
I have found people all have a different technique and its what you want to bring out on a track. For instance, i love snares sticking out mostly more than other instruments for some reason. I woul bring the snare up and layer it with another snare in the DAW first. Seperate channels as well...
When i started with FL many years ago Fl 3, my beats weren't nearly as good as this for a newbie. As said above, give more punch to the bass, stronger kicks or layer them with an 808 maybe? I could try remix this for you if you like to see what i mean?
Must say, its still going a bit slow. Very talented Rappers, producers not so much. They cling on older style of hip hop. Myself, im trying to bring whats poping in the world here but without a good rapper , its pretty futile.
