    Question about Kontakt and the MPC

    Do these two things operate the same way, I mean I know they are both samplers but the MPC can work as a drum machine too right? Can Kontact work in a somwhat similiar fashion?

    Do you need to use a certain brand of hardware with protools? Dont know if thats a real clear question but I went on digidesigns site and it said that the protools program helps to harness the power of your digidesign hardware.
