ok. i have an mp 2kxl. i'm interested in chopping samples. i've been accomplishing this with soundforge. but i've learned that to chop samples you must use the zone method and adjust your zones and then assign each of them to a pad. what steps do you take to assign each zone it's own pad? -

i've been messing with this sound forge 7.0. i've grasp the concept of chopping and rearranging a sample (piece of music from an album). but i cant figure out how to adjust the tempo of the sample. and then once that's been accomplished..how would i import the sample into homestudio to record? -
