I don't know why the buffer is so high, I've never changed it to be honest. What do you suggest it should be set to? And no, I haven't optimised my laptop, I'll check them links out. Thanks. -

I'm using Reason 4 too, with 2gb RAM. My buffer size is set to 8192 with my output latency and latency compensation at 185ms. When I use Ableton 7 with the same settings it seems to just really drag. -
