So relic u think i should go with the flash drive instead? I'm getting my mpc 2000xl customized and I def want to put a diffrent drive in it. Someone said to me that the zip was better, but I read a few articles and alot of heads who use the mpc 2000xl say its better with the flash drive. -

mpc is the shit!!! wooooo!!! i have the 2000xl!! with all options in it!!! shit is crazy!! im bout to send it out to get it customized!! and think of putting a flash disk ram reader and getting away from the floppy 3.5 but its a great machin!! much respects to Roger Linn!! -

yeah i have use my mpc2000xl for years! i notice alot of heads do there chopz then load them into the mpc!!!?? im still wonder how thats done!?? but i had my motif and mo phat rack hooked up to the mpc and daisy chain the keyboard threw midi!! as for the interface man motu is always had that... -
