Sounds like a decnet idea to me if you can keep it at a reasonable price. especially with an ext. harddrive.. also if its all recorded from vinyl or something, not like downloaded mp3s that everyone already has access to.- Sanova

Are you basing you're opinions off the free version of JJOS? or have you actually purchased it? I say this because the free version is the very first JJOS versio So of course it had bugs and various features.. But that was created at LEAST a year ago.. There are more features, and... -

Oh also, the latest OS from AKAI for the 1000 has a serious bug that eventually damages all the data on you're CF card.. I forget the exact name and cause of this but its like on every post over at mpc-forums.com That was a risk I was just not willing to take.. -
