    Hands on is the only difference..thats why i bought a midi keyboard and AKai created the MPC pads to use on a PC.. meaning the mpc is useless if u have a pc... and better yet a laptop IMO

    You cant get the same sounds as the neptunes. All they do is ADD EFFECTS and tweak casio keyboards..lol..literally thats about all. I mean they have the triton and such..but thats all for show. So do what they do...TWEAK cheap sounds until you get something you like...much software allows...

    How Would You Use Reason 2.0 With An Mpc 2000 Xl?

    Mpc = sampling and drums Reason = bass and melody brign it togerther in a sequencer that allows midi in and or out... CUBASE LOGIC SONAR ETC...even cool edit might be able to do this if u recording audio.

    Using loops in Reason

    IN recyle Set it to ONE bar... and set the tempo of ur MAIN track in RECYLE. for instance if i have a 94 bpm beat in reason.. my recyle loop will be set to 94 bpm BEFORE i put it in reason and i dont set the beats...i hope this helps..adjust tempo of MASTER track later if its too...
