    I do this, get a rack mod like a proteus 2000. sample all the sounds onto a disk.( then return it. lol, na keep it) once there are on disk you can change them by adding fx or changing pitch in the mpc.

    You need both, I use Audio Audition (Cool Edit Pro) and a MPC 2000. The mpc has a total different swing than on any software.

    to enable looping in multitrack all you have to do is load the sound in the track then right click it and select loop propertties from the drop down window.

    technics 1200 problem

    check to make sure that the headshell is contacting all four post on the tonearm. when i use my stanton carts on my 1200 i have to wipe the four post with water (or lick them) just to get them to work, it might sound wierd but the shit works.
