    check underneath the turntables metal plate..sometimes they come with a eq switch...i think into a phono jack it should be switched off and when going into anything else it should be switched on

    vinyl sounds better...cd's have better quality, theres a huge difference. imo. tape sound better then cd because of the analog punch it gives off i have yet hear duplicated by cd. if your sampling then i suggest you get the tables, but it takes months, yet more usually year/s to learn how to...

    dont be to technical with eqing ect.... what help gave groups like black moon and mobb deep there signature sound was overlapping of multiple eqranges and if it dont sound good to you, it isnt good

    for pops, i use adobe auditions clip/pop editor. it does the job, and on some sample i was able to take out whole drum loops(kick/snare) without effecting the quality or durability of the sample. for high noises i use a noise reduction in adobe audtion, this works wonders, it can also filter...
