Scratch Magazine is no more!
It was good at first then turned into another Xxl or Source and thats when I and I think ALOT of people stopped bothering with it ... I didn't learn much from it however unlike w/other magazines such as Remix, EQ, Sound on Sound and etc ... With the other magazines you learn things and get...- H&R

Proteus X Sound Module ... Sound Font Version
Yup using the Fruity Soundfont Player you can load all the .sf2 files up and play all the presets/instruements with it ... Thats how I use it. -

I found somewhere that sells the Emu Proteus X sound module sounds converted into soundfonts (.sf2 format) so they can be used outside the proteus x software for $49.00 ... I own the proteus x and I find it a pain to always have to load up banks or the program just for individual sounds ... -

^^^ Doesn't get any easier than that ... And i'm pretty sure it asks you what VST folder you want to install it in when you install it as well as does pretty much every store bought vst installation usually. -

Thanks manguino & I agree Relic ... Most UK artists don't sound grimey enough for me. I like that grimey/street appeal and I don't hear that alot of the time thru the accent as you said ... Also most that I've heard like some sort of swag or style ... I'd like to hear more though -

Does anyone have a job that they like outside of music?
I just graduated this past june w/an associates in visual communications and I'm already dreading being in an office doing work LOL even though I enjoy grpahic/photoshop work. I'm bout to avoid it and go back to college and get another degree lol.- H&R

Directly to artists or directly to artists over the internet by sending them beat samplers and if they want a bet they paypal the funds and I mail or give a downlink to the full beat and files ... No beattrader or other type of sites where people sell beats for $20.00- H&R

Anyone know the reason why when I download the demo and run it as stand alone get no sound from it ? It indicates that sound is playing but I hear nothing ??? (Everything else on my pc plays fine including other music software). -

I just downloaded the demo last night (1st time trying out Guru) ... But I could not get any audio whatsoever out of it ... The program indicated that sounds were playing sadly so scrapped the demo and didn't get to try it out ...
