    i bought the maschine and a mac pro instead... problem wasnt with just plug ins... it was when recording in a 40+ track session, shit was cuttin out all the time. Limitations on gear can be good... but not when it comes to cpu limitations... thats bad usually.

    auto chop wasnt very good on 1.01, the version on the dvd... however 1.02 had much improved chopping, adding the seemingly obvious truncate function. Unfortunately no time stretch... however i use maschine with logic, and logic's time stretch alogs are a lot better than anything NI has put out...

    i demoed the bxa5 deluxes, krk rp 5 g2, and the mackie mr 5's... and the bxa5 deluxes were easily the best soundin, and had most accurate sound, particularly in low end, where 5 inch woofers usually can't cut it... i'm plannin on hookin up my jbl sub too it at somepoint tho if thats possible.

    orderin mine tomorrow... gettin it for 249 at guitar center after i return my mpd 24, will have it saturday. i have komplete 5 on my macbook so it will be nice to control that too... gettin a refurbished mac pro(two dual core 2.66 intel processors, 8 gigs of ram) for 1800 in 3 weeks or so.

By doing that it should record what is coming out of the mini originally, after running...
