everyone has their moments when nothing seems to come together or just flat out sounds right. like big rob said, don't force it. sometimes it's good for you to walk away from it (temporary, i dont mean give up and quit) do your normal day to day routine for a while, then come back to it... -
Computer Crashed?
i had a similiar problem but mine was related to a virus. i'd try installing your hard drive in another PC and see if it will respond appropriately. not sure how to go about testing your power supply,i'd try to avoid Geek Squad because they will rape you blind, especially if you have them come... -
virus protection
for spyware/adware i'd use both the microsoft antispyware and spybot (which is free) as far as free virus scanner, i know a version of AVG is free, they also have one that you can buy which makes me wonder what that one has to offer over the free one.- trez260

i think you're referring to Sony Soundforge. Nontheless, i know you can definitely cut parts out of a song. soundforge does have an option to adjust the pitch, it's aiight, there maybe other programs that may be better at adjusting pitch. but to sync up your joints, mess with the pitch option... -
