    I know how you feel on that...its like a person always has to be practicing to get better.....but for ME personally, If i didnt take that break I would never evolve into greater things. I would be stuck in a rut of the same type of beats that dont get any better or they get worse* as time goes...

    I feel ya class.....I usually do the same thing. I just go about 4-6 weeks away from my mpc to do other stuff. Musical outlets: Piano Guitar beatmaking Scratchin..... on the Turntables Bass guitar Drums Oh yeah and complaining about how much garbage I hear on the radio and tv.....lol

    I see what you are saying about Actually Playing The Instrument. Music theory doesnt help you train your muscles but it will help your knowledge if you want to expand and make your own music. Learning music theory can only help you no matter what you are trying to play.
