are you referring to harmony? try to get the main chords or note or key etc...and work your way around that. i mostly hum until i get a good idea of what i want. hope that helps. :) -

Headphones
the ATH M50s is what i use...I havent had any other headphones so i cant compare...but i read somewhere that: sony mdr7506 is concentrated a bit towards the high frequency ath m50s is a bit towards the lower frequency. just a thought to consider.. PEACE! -

This is a good beat, but 4 mins of the same thing is pretty much too long...might i suggest keeping it to 2 mins? or like @Blackbird Beats said, make a couple of change ups during the beat for it not to be repetitive.. I like your style and how you mixed everything, but i think the low end is...- Bugsy

bought an mpc 2500 about a year ago ended up selling it...before that i had an akai mpd and now maschine..to tell you honestly, its better having a midi controller than a hardware unless your really into it...as @thedreampolice said its basically the same...it will practically spit out what you... -
