    No I just ripped his bass drum only. I don't really know how to make my own sound really. I just find hits and modify them to my own but the bass in that song really hit me. I love that feel.

    I'm having a issue with adding bass to my songs. I'm using Reason 4.0 and the stock bass strings are a bit weak. What would you suggest for making bass riffs on the keyboard? I like the bass on Redman's Muddy Waters cd. What do you think he used to make songs like "Pick It Up"?

    Anywhere from 82 to 96 so far. I think 80 - 100 is the sweet spot for hip-hop.

    Damn man. AllI have is a Macbook, Reason 4.0, M-Audio Oxygen 8, a vintage Pioneer Record Player, and amplifier to connect it to my Macbook. I feel like I'm getting good with what I have.
