I want to start using the mastering side of Reason, but I have no idea what I'm doing at this moment in time. I'm wondering if any of you could recommend one of the built-in patches to use for general hip hop use? I find that the actual hip hop patch pushes out my kicks in parts. -

When I'm using ReDrum, most of the time I have channels 1, 2 and 3 all linked out using gate out and gate in on the back of it, and the same with channels 4-6, 7-9, just so that my drums are layered. What I wanna do is keep that layering, but to wire the ReDrum into the mixer so that there are... -

That's the way I felt about it. I didn't wanna post it up and get beat for being lazy with it. Most of the tracks I make I just chop the sample and play around with it, it's very rare for me to loop. -

48 was alot, but I decided to cop an MPD24, got that from Fade actually. I feel that my work has improved since getting it, even if it's just sped up my workflow slightly. I use the MPK for composition now and the MPD for samples. -

Here's the deal... I've found a dope ass sample, and there are 3 parts of it I've chopped. I'm using the 3 parts as follows - one part for half the verse, another part for the other half the verse and the 3rd part for the hook. Now all I've had to do to make this sound dope is loop it. Do you... -

No it does have pads, but only 12 for some reason. I still got 4 banks, so essentially 48 pads, but it's just easier with 16 when I'm sampling.
