ive had the tascam us122 before and it works great...for labtops. (just my opinion. never tried it with a pc). i have the 1212m and its great but i need more in's/out's (which will lead me to get the M box) so in my opinion, get the 1820M (comes with the mbox and the sister card). a little bit... -

no offense but what good will this do? like sygma said, the bassline "helps" your overall melody to your beat. now if you're talking about using that bassline as the centerpiece of the beat, i dont know too many of my own beats that i do that in. but its been done before. good luck -

cool edit help with turntable
ok so i got my turntable (numark pt-01) connected to my soundcard (e-mu 1212m) via rca to 1/4". now i changed all the settings in cep to record off the soundcard. for some reason its still not picking up the turntable. help. what should i do? -
