I agree. But do you think that the people who actually look to normal people would give props? Like, you might get you name in a cd insert but say you made the sickest beat to ever be spat on by an artist, would they mention your name?
Okay, when selling beats, how do you go about doing it? Do you put several beats on one cd and sell it. Play individual beats for a customer, or just give them a beat? And what prices do you say are suitable?
I just dont want to see another "soul searching", Revelation around every corner, murder mystery. A movie detailing his life would be cool. And definitely not another VH1 movie cause Michael Jackson's was flippin horrible.
Freeman is good. He's the only convincing black actor to play the president of the United States. Chris Rock... Not so believable. Major "oh shits" to Morgan Freeman.
I think most artists in the game just want to sell anyway. So they put those three tight beats out as singles and save the million other hot beats for the singles for other albums. I learned that by listenin to Nelly. But on the contrary, a cd that has some flame is the Roots album the Tipping...
We gotta start seein music as music. Sample or not, It's gotta be from and for the soul. Even if the creator doesn't dig it and a few people don't like it, it DOES mean something to someone else.
For real...
I dont know if I'm the only one that is really into stand-up comedy but I am. And I need new material to watch. So can anybody out there recommend some funny shit? I mean FUNNY.
