EMU sound cards
EMU was making big efforts to enter the soundcard /software sampling market at the beginning of this year (lots of advertising). right now it looks like things have cooled down. anybody use their ish? is it any good? I don't intend to buy any of their stuff - just curious -
fl 4 and adobe audition 1.5?
you can also have audition be trigger by a midi signal send through fl. i think you need to press f6 and have a look in the settings. haven't done that for years though. -

is it possible to link several sampler channels in fruity to one channel/layer/whatever it is called, so that i can tap in snares and drums at the same time? cuz the way i do it now, i do kicks, snares, hihats in seperate steps cuz fruity will only trigger 1 sample and at different tones, so... -
Music Ready Laptop
i´m using an acer aspire with a amd athlon xp2400, 512 mb ram (32mb goes to the graphic card though), and a 60 gig harddrive and it works nicely. i also do have a mobile pre usb by maudio for recording it, but with asio4all you can setup the internal soundcard to work with asio quite well... -
My List of budget samplers/drum machines
if you wanna go for akai s-series i wouldn´t advise the s2000. it is budget. add a little doe and you can get the s3000xl or cd3000 xl which are way better. bigger lcd, individual outputs, better sound. just my advice. -

qwerty, the mpc is a sequencer/sampler and has no sounds in it. you can feed it with samples by loading cds or floppies into its memories or buy recording your own ish into it. -
FL 4 midi quantization...
you record your data into the piano roll, right? alt + q will run quantization.
