I dunno. Restrictions and limitstions cause you to be more creative. But having all this access should lead to untold levels of creative opportunity, However, it seems to not. Not even to diss trap, but the approach to it, from kids or these half-assed wannabes. Trap is 808, snare, hihat... -

Not a bad beat, sound quality is decent, and in terms of balance is not too bad a mix. I think however, that the musical elements, vs the drums and 808s, they don't feel connected, musically speaking. Almost feel like two different songs - as if a DJ is mixing two together when transitioning...- Iron Keys

I think I voted for @MomenThom Lot of the beats sounding different than I remember. I thought @K-waz beat one of the best, but the mix felt a bit harsh which why my vote swayed away. I think everyone's big takeaway is, how different the same drums can sound. Even when the same drums. If it wasn't for the fact we all knew and was listening for it. Easily would not have noticed. I'm sure I remember Dre saying he used the same drums for most tracks on 2001 or something.- Iron Keys
