November 24-28, 2004 - USA ROUND 3: Classic vs. Cold Truth vs. FrictionBeats

Like the other side, all of these beats were hot. Classic always brings heat and so does Cold Truth. I haven't really heard much from Friction Beats in the past but this beat here was a different vibe altogether. Real tight sounding and I especially liked the spoken section at the start...

November 24-28, 2004 - WORLD ROUND 3: Chedda vs. Holmzini vs. ProducerGyal

I liked all three of these beats. It was hard to choose the best but I went for Holmz becasue of the overall quality of his track and some of the diverse sounds that were used. But all three were real tight.

That'll be good. It'll be interesting to hear someone spit over that beat.

November 24-28, 2004 - WORLD ROUND 1: Hectic vs. Architect

Thanks to those who dropped feedback on my beat. Special thanks to those who were feeling it. In my opinion, the mix only sounds messy and cluttered when compressed into MP3 format and, since listening to what all of you have said about it, I listened to the beat a couple of times over my home...

Sorry to hear about that Mark. Atleast now my first heat is down to 2, it gives me more of a chance to progress. But I'm quietly confident about my beat.

I'm with you on that. The USA have got some talented people on their team who always drop gems in the showcase every time round but I think we (the world team) can give them a run for their money!

Nice one Mark. I think we've got a lot of potential on the world team. The US normally beat us at everything except football (soccer) or golf, so it's time for us to start winning. lol.

    Madlib - SP-303

I agree with a lot of views on this. I got an SP 202, it's an earlier, more scaled down version of the 303. Overall it's a good sampler especially with how you can tell what pads are playing, where on the MPC you have to do that through memory, but it doesn't have a sequencer and you can't...

ok here is a poll BEST PRODUCER of hiphop currently

There are a lot of good producers out there at the moment. But it's hard to pick the best one. Just Blaze, Kanye, Neptunes, Premo. Timb to name a few. Kanye's 'Through The Wire' beat is hot. Neptunes are losing their heat at the moment, they won't ever top 'Superthug'. But for...

    Eminem' Production

Eminem' Production I wanted to know what other people out there think of Em's beats. At the moment he's trying to put himself out there as a credible producer, doing tracks for Jay-Z and Nas just lately as well as producing most of the material on the Shady label. But I'm not yet convinced...
