    Akai MPC Live 2

But the Piano Roll was pure shit... You had a Drum Grid where you could do drums in but you couldn't make the Piano Notes longer by mouse. You had to literally Step-Edit everything… so if you want to do that you're better of with a DAW

    My very 1st Beat-Tape!

Thanks for checking me out! Yep, The Main Ingrediënt is 1 of the best on the tape i think. Would love to hear a rapper on it. Just not having the right connects.

How did you start making beats ?

I first had Techno eJay and some DJ Jean software. In the last year of high school I downloaded a demo of Fruity Loops. Than YouTube came out and I started watching all these MPC videos and thought it was the craziest thing ever. So I bought a MV-8000 and started taking it more serious. Than the...

    Filtering drums

I didn't mean to offend you or anything like that. I Always chop on the Kick/Snare also but when the Hi-Hats in between the beats go out of time all the time i chop it on the Hi-Hat also. So 8 chops for 1 bar. A lot of drummers timing isn't perfect.

Which VST plugin for hiphop bass you use?

Trillian is the best of the best. If you still on 32-bit DAW, than Analog Warfare 3 sounds really good. (It's free, I still need to sample all the bass-sounds out of this plugin for future use)

Stop using reverb on your snare.

I love FL at heart to. Although i do gotta say i always found other DAWs looking sexier. There's barely colors being used. It's mostly grey. But with a nice background, coloring the mixer, it can still look attractive.

Stop using reverb on your snare.

I actually found FL very intimidating at first also though. But once you know a DAW it's easier to switch to another cause you know a lot of terms already. All though all DAWs use different names for similar things. Same with Synths and Samplers.

Stop using reverb on your snare.

I actually use Reverb on my master. I low cut it to make it work for more the higher tones

Off course. Let me know what you think?

I didnt realise how good FL Studio was

I personally hate side-chaining Kicks. It hardly ever sounds better with it.
