If you buy powered monitors you wont need and amp. I recommend Event studio monitors or Behringer i think thats how you spell it. :confused: You can go with either the Project studio series or Tuned refernce series that is of the event monitors. Sizes vary also, they come in 5 , 6, and 8 inch... -

nah i think your wrong about the mpc or any equipment like it. Since an mpc doesn't have any sounds think of it as a pencil and each artist renders his own imagination using that tool. Thus i don't think everyone will have the same sound. Synth's are another story:D -

yeah thats true no one will actually say hey thats my kick or snare stop selling it. Also if you do spend time filtering and creating new sounds off some original drums and percussions, you will end up telling yourself well ive work so hard on these should i sell out and give them up for 15 or... -

Well to tell you the truth most of those self created so called "i made the kits and created them from mpc's or other equipment" are bogus. Don't buy that garbage off ebay. Your better off buying proffesional discs. As far as drums and percussion goes there are some nice sample discs over at... -

Ah dope , yeah I used to have an mpc2000xl but I had to sell it to get my triton. I miss it a lot, i plan on getting the akai mpd16 cuase i love the akai pads to much. -
