    i also think sampling is without a doubt part of hip hop.     i agree there is trash both on the underground and mainstream levels, i think the problem lies with both producers and mc's copycatting, not going out to start new trends. This has to do with the labels being afraid aswell, lets just say the industry is messed.

    What Type Of Instrumentals Do You Make?

    i make beats that are ment to be rhymed on, one person said that the beats in competition on not made for rhyming, that damn right because for a beat to rapable it has to basic and dope, some this tuff i hear is way to complex, listen to any primo beat he would be torn apart by some of these posts.

    i would suggest getting some kind of roland vs1680, or 1824cd, 2400cd, vs2480, those are all good afortable recorders, i have the 1824cd, itis great and very user friendly. hope that might help, i would not get a 8 track because a soon i u start doing sterio, u will be running out of tracks.

    yeah man i have a mini disc, there so dope, i put all my instro's for live shows on there and it will never fail me, i see what your saying about from going from md to pc, i guess if you would need to do that a lot then go for it.
