    Well, the movie came out in July 20, 1984. So maybe it would sound like something Kurtis Blow, Fat Boys or LL Cool J (Radio) would put out....logically speaking

    My interpretation of this theme is to use instruments from the era but still make it sound hip hopish. I think some people took the theme to literally mean make a sound track for the movie while forgetting to add the hip hop drums and elements that make the majority of hip hop beats what they are.

    I think of some mythical woman with mystique when I hear the word "Griselda". On further research, looks like it was named after a Colombian woman drug lord who was shot at the age of 69.

    @Sole Element I like the concept, seems like the beat goes off in several directions though. It does keep you guessing what sound will come in next. It's almost like an abstract instrumental. Was that your intention? Kinda reminds me of an old Saafir Boxcar Sessions Type Beat.
