Attack of the Beats! - Battle #135
@Fade Yea... I find getting the 808 or sub-bass at the right level is one of the more difficult challenges when mixing. It's like you want it to be loud enough to thump, but not too low that it sounds weak... Its hard to find that happy medium. But yea that beat was sent in for Beat This...- crog85

Aww... U guys are sooo sweet! hahaha lol Thanks!! If anyones interested in what I did with the sample... I slowed the original sample down by 5 bpm (i think) just to get it to a tempo that I'm a lil more comfortable with... Then I slowed that down by half and used it for the intro and main...- crog85

11-12 years on guitar, then got heavy into slide guitar and open tunings about 6 years ago... been playing keys for about 5 or 6 years too, nothing too crazy just some basic chords... and I'll play around with weird acoustic instruments just for fun, anything that makes noise that I can... -

Don't laugh... but GarageBand '11. Had my eye on Logic for a while, and hear Ableton is good... Ableton Lite came with my audio interface, but never tried it out... -
