Need Help/Advice
Im facing my first real jump into something with music, im in a beat battle on the 10th at a club by where i live with a bunch of local producers, nothing serious but its my first time showing my work really and having "the people" listen and judge i guess... anyways i know i lack very much with... -

dam i actually get exactly what u mean and i think ill try to do something like that next time i make somethin, ill focus on one element and make the others fit with it so everything has a place cuz right now i kinda just throw everything in raw and then just tweak it all to not sound "bad" haha...- JustRipe

i have rockit krk 5's sometimes i just make beats on my headphones there AKG k-44 cheap probably sucky headphones but all i could afford.. i dont know much about mixing, i dont EQ or Compress the "master" like the entire beat but i do throw an eq on some channels like if im not just flipping a...- JustRipe

see i know nothing about mixing idk what 200-500 region your meaning, the sample has the bass on it and i just chopped it and flipped it, so the lows are what was originally on the sample i did no tweaking on the main flip. but i wana understand what u mean so i can try an do it differently on...- JustRipe
