    Anyone here actively/effectively uses Recycle ?

    Well imo they both suck (Live & Acid ) but he said he wanted auto matic loopage,lol.So in my short time demoing the both I found Acid to be great for just that.As for live I just didn't like it...to each his own.Reason and Recycle are both great imo and go hand in hand.

    who knows Im the type to be like kay im gonna make a beat.I don't have any clue as to what it's gonna be like or how it's gonna sound.I just get a melody or a drum loop goin and take it from there.Alot of my shyt sounds to happy but I think I subliminaly made it that way...Im not a happy person.

    Mainly I use it for what is made for loops! I don't use it as a sampler tho it's great for chopped vocal phrases but yeah...every so often Im lazy and/or there actually are dope drum loops that are very usable so I load'em up good to get the juices flowing even if you decided to program your own...

    I would preferably do my drums and synth in Reason,Sampletank/2 racks for your sound modules (accoustic intruments and such) So you'll have Reason rewired to Cubase,and have your 2 racks routed to Cubase aswell,Sampletank loaded up as a vsti and tell the Emulator X to hit the road.

    Im not sure if cubase actually burns your cd 4 you but yeah you can track your mpc beats into it post production...but my advice to you is to at least consider the SL version.or even better SX.
