@Marc Duncan ; Really dig that chill intro piano, but I wasn't feeling the bass that came in. I think some of the bass notes aren't the root notes so it throws it off a bit. The hats are also kinda loud and overpowering, they should be more behind the beat imo. The counter-melody kinda clashes...- GoldenBoy

Beat #2 has a much better choice of snare sound. I'm getting tired of hearing that same snare sound in beat #1. Everyone should consider trying different snare sounds. number 1 is mix slightly better, but #2 is mixed well for the style of music. Uniqueness goes to #2 and my vote to #2- GoldenBoy

Yeah for sure. Ill try to put something together and send it to you. I used a few filter plugins to sound like its a muddy melody but its actually 500-1k and a little sparkle on the higher frequencies.- GoldenBoy

Yeah it’s an extreme mid range sound melody, I used 3 sounds for that one melody. Purposefully take out all low end, purposefully take out all high end. Between 500-1k. @Iron Keys Simplicity is key and it’s all about the shorter 808’s that have some mid frequency response. Making newer 2020 type trap beats like this are much easier to make than your typical “2008, competition/Edm dance trap beats.” However it does require you to pay focus to newer rap songs...- GoldenBoy
