    It all depends on the mood I'm in or what I'm doing. As can you tell, I make strictly boombap and sometimes Hyphy but I used to make trap in my earlier days of producing.     I started off using Reason Propellerhead and still uses it. I tried FL Studio but I can't really dig it. I heard Albeton is really good and user friendly. I tried Pro Tools and like it. Which Daw do you guys/gals use? No Particular reason, I just want to know what everyone like to use. :cool:

    I guess it all depends on the sample. If the sample has different melodies throughout the song, ill use all three (beginning, middle, and end). If it has the same melody throughout the whole song, then I'll just grab the easiest one and add FX or some other shit on it.

    As a sampled based producer, I usually take the first 15 secs and chop it up. And then I'll take the middle of the sample (normally 1:00 or 2 in) and take 15 secs of that and chop it.
