I agree with both of these...I usually try to "thicken" in my mix but if all else fails, I'll layer it to thicken it. -

I've heard that Keygens can show up as threats but are usually safe. I stay away from them anyway. But I've never heard of a Keygen coming up as a trojan though, so I'd say trash it. Edit: I just did some research and it says that it's very common for Keygens to show up as trojans with Norton... -

I think the thing thats missing in every case is - what has happened prior to everything getting out of hand. These guys talk shhh to each other, they take cheap shots at each other all game long but we don't really see that part. We just see when someone gets fed up and starts the drama.- dacalion

There are a million factors that come into play with a question like this from "how much money do you want to spend?" to "how serious are you about your music?" but a general answer to a very general question would be - both! There is hardware that can't be replaced by software and vice versa. -
