Help!! Getting that ''sampled sound'' without sampling...
I say if your worried about clearance issues, than just get really really good at flipping samples, hence the word "flip", take a horn hit like you would a snare drum, bam. Glue that shit to something else, your all good. I think a lot of these cats are just using loops and thats not really what... -
What was your "WOW" moment in the studio?
When someone told me how to use the NNXT in Reason to sample, I didn't have recycle not could I afford it & had been making beats in reason for like a year & a half just using random reason sounds and synths, trying to make it sound the way I wanted but couldn't get that unmatchable feel & vibe... -

drink olde english and listen to Hubert Laws (seriously), if that doesn't work, just take a break and walk through the woods or something. Sound is everywhere, its all in how you organize it to fit your momentary needs. -

lol, damn this is my dude! Tell the kids they dont need recycle either, this and the M-class eq/compressor/maximizer are the only tools I ever use with reason.
