    I read Samplitude is the best sounding audio editor there is. You should download the demo and try it out tho. I'm not feelin the interface at all. Theres a lot of good Programs out there for recording: Cubase, Nuendo, Pro Tools, Sonar, Cool Edit Pro...etc. The easiest one is probably ProTools.
