Finding time to make music

Where to find 'older' sounding synths?
Do you have a price range? If you're willing to do some research you can get a bunch of free ones and get a plugin that will mimic the aliasing, noisefloor, bias, bit depth, sample rate etc. You can also research a specific machine and recreate the specs. Theres other ways too. All legit free- UNORTHODOX

How Far Do you Push Your Loudness?
Just go with what sounds good for your tracks. Load up the best sounding track and have the others follow its lead. Why do you need preset numbers when you already know that its going to vary by engineer to engineer, project to project, song to song? Remember, our ears react to curves...- UNORTHODOX

How Far Do you Push Your Loudness?
You should have a limiter with intersample clipping (Ie Ozone). It'll keep your tracks from clipping period. Dont consider myself a mastering engineer, but I go -0.1, but only after alot of tactical minute cuts.- UNORTHODOX

Ive learned, as long as its dope music majority of people you'll come across couldnt care less about the style of music, it just has to be captivating. Broad styles are probably best, helps hold attention spans. Do it.- UNORTHODOX
