Beefing up the kick
ok, use the audio outputs on the back of the redrum to run the kick drum through a compressor and a reverb unit. don't add a lot of reverb...in fact it shouldn't even really be noticeable...but it will make your kicks sound bigger.- Agent Smith

from what i've heard it has a lot of potential to be super dope...i agree that it needs to be played on a good system though. i do see some resemblance to dnb as far as the synths they use and the name "dubSTEP" suggests it splintered off from dnb...that being said i think it's different enough...- Agent Smith
