    I can honestly that was my biggest problem at 1st. I always had a beat that sounded like Jus, Kanye, Dre.... So what I did was stop focus on me instead of trying to pick apart errrthang on the radio or tv.

    Man really I would just vibe to what ever my drums and/or melody and just go. Sometimes when you try to apply rules, you will find yourself in a box. Sometimes you will find it sitting right there, other times it will make you search to find it. You'll figure it out.

    I honestly do it because I can. Its something that came about naturally for me. Now I'm saying I'm the best yet and I am light years away from the worst but this music lets me know everytime I sit down I'm about to create something that represents me.

    Like errrrrrrrbody else, go ahead and roll with the MPC. The best thing about it is its all on you. You feed that MPC some hots sounds and samples you will do things you and be more creative I think. A good board to MIDI it up to would be the icing on the cake.
