    I usuallly like to do the music 1st and then the lyrics just so it fits better alot of times. Sometimes when I work with cats that come with a notebook, it never really jells until they pick up the vibe of the beat and run wit it.

    I would say just make sure you are leaving enough room for the artist, singer or rapper to move around. Its just like coloring a picture, you dont use every crayon just because you got em. Just put together what works and its all good fam.

    No doubt I agree, when I was recording downstairs in my house, the room was so small the sub was annoying. Now that I record upstairs, the size of the room and those wood floors make a world of difference.
