@LiveLargeBeats cheers man-trying to take it back to the 90s at the minute ;) really liking the bass on your beat here-and the break is tight on it-nice work!!
@Crispifier i liked-the snare in particular-otherwise i feel the keyboard/synth is a little loud in the mix, and whole thing could be choppier? a bit of stop start in the beat with a bit of silence/ghost notage-something i'm trying to do myself from time to time but never seem to bother ;)...
some nice beats! couple i really enjoyed actually-looking forward to seeing who's responsible for what-struggled to make 4 beats in the day i had set aside to work and flaked in the second round as a result-every cloud though, got a big tune waiting in the wings for next time
@Vossi Beats no, sampled it all! but chopped and resequenced-ill dig out the original later for u.
also ive written some feedback for the rest of ye. what i posted up last nigt was essentially all i could bring myself to type at the time ;) once again, i thought there were alot of great...
@Iron Keys lol you know i'm only trying to be constructive. well u shouldn't feel obliged to enter...or maybe we should all feel obliged, to keep it going and keep numbers up like! I'm guilty of entering things in here to keep the flame lit. in fact, screw it, you should feel obliged, not...
whoa there's alot to get through-and alot of really good stuff! back home now so i'll stop drip feeding my thoughts...
firstly!!! @Monarch i probs would've voted for this. the cuts and synth were so damn cool. increase the levels on the break and get a little sidechain compression in there and...
@K-waz loved the bassline-but mainly i loved the organ-nice work; a bit of wobble on the bassline might've generated a bit more rhythm? enjoyed it alot
@Primz good standard of production-how you've got the motivation to make anything after seeing how pooned you are from hitting a bong amazes me...
@Armani enjoyed this alot, maybe the strings were hitting a bit too hard initially, maybe a little side chain compression would have made it bounce? But when it drops to the piano and percussion i was loving it. The swing on the beat was great
@YannFer very nice work, enjoyed that.
@prodi liked this alot when I heard it earlier but the sample sounded way too familiar, am I wrong?
@Vossi Beats loved the break
Lol @Delta_Nine chances of @OGBama dropping a beat... jokes! If I'd heard this earlier I'd have voted for it. Nice compression to get the rhythm going, and the la la laaa sample- who else has used that?
I voted for yours @ConspiracyMuzik so tight. Actually only had time to listen to 10 beats the way my shift was today and didn't get a break. Nice work @Delta_Nine is this you rhyming too? I'll listen to the rest when I get home. Pleased to have placed, was a bit lazy with the entry on this but...
1 simple thing...swing-either don't quantize your beats to bars when you make them-or subtly adjust the swing afterward-honestly...lol, for years i had no idea! everything i made from before i appreciated swing makes me agonise about how much a little swing would have sorted it right out... It;s...
see that transpired to be a semi healthy debate. i agree, i like alot of kendrick's work; pusha t gets a bit of commercial success, i actually liked some of the Childish Gambino stuff but i cringe when i hear him interviewed. Eminem releases something every now and then that i really dig...
so it's decided! he's a real piece of sh^t.
@Delta_Nine i think we're all curmudgeons on here, and we're probably right...biggest selling rapper of all time....-i suppose the industry is driven by 12 year olds. i'm sure when i was 12 i was listening to better stuff than that... and people voted...
Right... Aside from hearing this guy whilst i venture around modern day society(bars, department stores, commercial radio), and seeing him acting like the mixed race version of Tom Hanks from Big as he parades around the side court at the Raptors games, I've never sat down and listened to any of...
lol, that joint is hilarious-fair play for rolling with the video anyway despite how poor the roll is - loved it!
@YannFer cheers man! Yeah i went off piste when i heard that Irish traditional banjo, butbeing Irish i had to follow it through-gna remaster it and touch it up here and there i'll...
