So "Blurred Lines" was a ripoff
Nothing will change... most hip-hop guys that sample are well under the radar to even be noticed these days. Also it's because it's Marvin Gaye, so that's a BIG deal news wise. I'm sure there's lots of legal dealings that go on because of samples, you just don't hear about it. -

Super Cat - Dolly My Baby (1993)
Super Cat is a legend, I enjoyed his short success crossing over to hip-hop. In fact, I loved all those early ragga / dancehall guys bridging into hip-hop, it's a match made in heaven if you ask me... at least if it's done well. -
